Foulées is athletes (?) but this is a Marché Paysan and Vide Greniers (local produce and jumble sale) so I am not sure the connection
The Musée de la Poterne is open from 2.30pm to 6.30pm, Tuesday to Sunday
Until the 27th August at the Mediatheque has an exhibition "Promenades dans les rues de Preuilly sur Claise"
Market days in Preuilly are Thursdays and Saturdays. The market is held in Place des Halles in the morning.
On Saturday nights there is a pizza van in Place des Halles.
Wildlife to look out for in August: brightly coloured grasshoppers; spreadwing damselflies; giant horseflies; Jersey Tiger moths.

Wildflowers to look out for in August: Wild carrots (lacy white flowers) and parsnips (similar yellow flowers) are everywhere on roadsides, the edges of ditches and in fields - these are the ancestors of our vegetables today; Hemp Agrimony flowering on the river banks; Cluster Bellflowers; Devil's Bit Scabious.
Also in August - fabulous fields of sunflowers.

Oh my, music of Cuba in Chedigny! One of my favorite villages and some of my favorite rhythms. I hope you're going and will report. Chedigny strikes me as an odd place for a blues festival, but what do I know?
I would love to be on the steam train from Orléans to Loches :-)
