This is where our kitchen is at, and probably where it will remain until after Christmas. All the framing is done, and part of the insulation is in. The weather is quite mild at the moment, so it isn't a huge problem. The wooden frame may look like overkill, but it will help stabilise this end of the house, and take some weight off the shonky brickwork

Jean: So do I. It's a full leg of lamb, so getting it into the mini oven in the temporary kitchen will be touch and go. Susan.
Ooh, this is the part I'm looking forward to. A good cook wants a well-arranged kitchen. You'll enjoy cooking so much more once you have that. How you two have coped with your current setup, and produced ambitious meals, amazes me.
