The Nature of the Touraine Loire Valley in August

Sunrise: 7am. Sunset: 9pm.

Longhorn to look out for:  Spotted Longicorn Chlorophorus glabromaculatus.
You may see them around your firewood, or in oak woods at this time of year.
Expect the weather to be much like July's generally is -- warm and sunny.

Walt: Well, first two weeks of August is fairly reliably warm and sunny :-)
