These '30 Zone' signs painted on the road have appeared on every road leading into the centre of Preuilly. No lollipop style 30 kph signs on poles have appeared though, probably on the grounds that in these small French streets you can't afford to have too much street furniture. Hopefully the signs will be effective and slow people down. Other villages have adopted them too, so presumably they are the latest thing in traffic calming. I'd quite like one at the bottom of our street.
