On Friday night Célestine and I did our first wedding. It wasn't the full-on wedding thing (taking people to/from the mairie, church, reception, hotel, etc, etc, etc). Just collecting the happy couple from the reception and driving to their hotel, a distance of 85km (just under 55 miles).
For this, Célestine had to wear a party dress.
I wore a suit. I knew where my suit was, but I had to wear a t-shirt with it because I have no idea where my ties are - they were packed up when we left London and they haven't yet seen the light of day. With any luck it will stay that way.

Celestine looks even more beautiful!
oops ... in her wedding finery.
WOT! No picy of you in a suit Simon. I have the opposite problem I have all my ties here in France but ALL my suits are in the UK... Long may it stay that way...
So if you need a tie next time,I have some good 1960/70 classics, that wide you could wear without a shirt.
What a lovely party dress!! Next time ask Niall he has plenty of unemployed ties.
Always enjoy a picture of Celestine.
No ties. That's a life many men envy.
Thanks for the offers of ties, but I figure that if I ain't got 'em, I can't wear 'em...
As for the party dress, I feel it's close to gilding a lily
What a lucky bride and groom, having a ride in Célestine on their special day.
