Bastille Market

Simon has made a video of the market at Bastille in Paris. If you know what to look for, every now and then you will catch a glimpse of me shopping.

What has come up, is a short ride on the Metro!!
This keeps happening with "Perpetually in Transit"'s blog...
I've been getting the King's College Choir ever since Christmas...
I'll look again this afternoon... it will have arrived by then!!

Simon suggests you clear your cache.

Came up loud and clear or me. Enthusiastic crowd of
shoppers, and one can see why. I'm envious.

I clean my hideaway every night....
when I go to the new "with post" comment form...
I now have the market in all its buzzy glory...
What I didn't say this AM was...
the short ride on the Metro has vanished from the original post...
all that is there is a big green space...
with a Facebook "like" button and the number 48.
However, click on the comments on that post and it is there...
without a Facebook "like" button...??

No idea what's going on, but I suspect it's something to do with your settings not ours.

The quality and price of the fresh produce really is impressive.

Didn't see anyone who looked like a Susan, but will look again. I do like those canvas bundle buggies for your purchases.

I didn't see Susan either. I might make a video of our market too. Maybe Simon could move the camera is a little more slowly to see more details.

Susan

Is it at 1;07 looking at the pieces of fabrics ?

Susan said...

'Canvas bundle buggies'? I've never heard that expression. Is that what shopping trolleys are called in the US? I've owned one for years and used it every week at the farmers market in London, but I never use it here.

Susan said...

It's really hard to move the camera slowly enough. He's getting better.

Susan said...

Nope. I'm at 1.17 and again at 1.34.

I spotted Karl Marx at 0:28....
And near the beginning someone in a red [not green] hat has stolen your coat and handbag!!

Wot settings??

Ken Broadhurst said...

Susan, aren't you carrying a red handbay (or shoulder bag) in the video?

Ken Broadhurst said...

I think the market has always been called le marché Richard-le-Noir, for the boulevard where it is held. Maybe the name is changing in everyday language.

Ken Broadhurst said...

Oops, an extra hyphen slipped in there.

Susan said...

It'll be some option you've got switched off or disallowed or something.

Susan said...

Orange.

I don't think it was Karl Marx. I think it was Charles Darwin.

Susan said...

You are probably right. I always call it Bastille market, and I notice David Lebovitz does, but it is probably tourist-speak.
