A Profusion of Primroses

*******************************************
Portes Ouvertes: Clos Roussely is having an open weekend with a gourmet market on the weekend 2-3 April. They have the open weekend every year and it is quite lively and the producers high quality. Vincent Roussely, the winemaker, is presenting his new Touraine-Chenonceaux range. I tasted it the other day and it is excellent. I bought some red, €9 a bottle. The market will feature winemakers from other regions of France, oysters, honey, goat cheese, donkey milk products, mushrooms and traditional biscuits. You can also have lunch there.

Simon has changed the blog colours again. This may not be the last of the changes either...

That's what I call primroses... Like the new update but you have lost the open picture in a new window feature Simon.

hmmmmmmm no way of opening just the images in a new window unless I hand code every picture. Most annoying...

It is lovely to see a flood of real primrose-coloured primroses!

Simon, I suggest a recrop of the header picture to get rid of the highly distracting fragment of the river-name sign...
bottom left.
And the side-bar adverts have vanished...
we can't earn you money by clicking on them.

I've always used the... target="_blank"...
inserted by hand after the "auto" picture size...
not really too tedious...even with a picture heavy post...
but I've done that from the start...
you've got eons of back-posts to go through...
but think about it...
you won't need to go to the barber ever again!!
My advice...get a crew cut before you start...
then it may well have grown back by the time you've finished...
if you find yourself tugging at it...get it recut!!

Tim - and make the opicture one not from ancient history :) As soon as the weather picks up I'll be taking more.

The ads appear here - has your adbloker re asserted itself?

I was tryying to avois having to hand code every one of the about 10,000 photos we have posted (I am avoiding cointing them, too)

it used to appear just after your maps in the sidebar...
is it now in the body of the comments?
