These are Simon's shoes that he has been wearing to drive the Tractions. They were bought on 4 September 2014 and I forcibly retired them last week (by picking them up from where they were laying about in the entry hall and putting them in the rubbish). The left one has a Traction clutch shaped wear mark on the sole and two actual holes worn right through.

Maybe one of the shoes could be saved and paired with an odd one of a different color. It's all the rage, I understand.
LOL. Advice from the cutting edge of fashion is always appreciated :-)
Too late for repairs - as we all thought, Simon has no sole (Soul). Not true otherwise why would you suffer him so long.
Did you know we are also now rural folk. Thank you for your inspiration for us to make the move
Old and worn out... I'd better not hang around in your entrance hall then, for fear of being thrown out!! ;o)
Perfectly repairable.... just need a pair of Sticka-Sole soles and a pair of matching heels... available from Amazon.
Clean the soles using Copydex and peeling it off...
scuff the surface with coarse sandpaper...
prepare the scuffed surface with a good contact adhesive...
follow instructions for applying the Sticka-Sole and heel...
ignoring, however, their instructions for preparing the surface!!
Perfectly comfortable shoes ready for another two to three years of hard driving! No need to break in the new ones.
Don't worry. You'd be there an awfully long time before I got round to clearing you out.
Really? My experience of repaired soles is that the shoes are never the same again. Anyway, these shoes had collapsed in other places too.
It really depends just how thorough you are in cleaning and preparing the surface to be stuck onto!
It was a propper cobler wot showed me....
