These photographs were taken one evening in September just before we headed in for a menu of Basque specialities at the sardine restaurant on the quay of the harbour in Saint Jean de Luz.

Every time I visit your blog I feel tempted to leave chez nous in the east of France in order to take one of your fantastic tours. My husband would come just for a ride in your car. He has fond memories of driving an unrestored version ,(with a surfboard on top), in his misspent youth as he chased waves along the southern Australian coast.
