I photographed this Eastern Bearded Dragon Pogona barbata on the front lawn of one of my parent's neighbours. These are a very commonly seen lizard in the east of Australia and can be 50 - 60 cm long. They often live in gardens, and can climb well (a desirable skill if they are sharing the garden with a dog). Their diet is mostly smaller reptiles and insects.
