I Think, Therefore I Mask

In the land of Descartes, we think, therefore we wear a mask. In the now eponymously named town of his birth his statue wears a mask. I suspect it was put there on the instructions of the Town Hall, which is just out of shot, behind on the right.

The problem is that here (the US) and there (France) many people don't think. Here they refuse to think!

Do you know Frank Muir's Descartes' canapés joke, I think they're for 1 am ?

For years I used to listen to Frank Muir once a week on the radio with great pleasure. Of course the Descartes thing went straght home!
