We do it every year, and it's remarkable how reliable the spotting of the first blooming cowslip is. Last year's first cowslip photo was posted the 4th March, in 2019 it was the 8th March. Only three times have we published in February: 2015, 2016, and 2020.
(Yes, you probably have seen them earlier this year, but this is our first cowslip)
