Water Snowflake Nymphoides indica is a floating aquatic plant native to tropical areas including Australia. It grows in standing water, with floating leaves and stems up to 3 metres long.

The magnified flower is a little jewel.
Remembering my uncle Robert Owen who was captured in 1941 and spent the rest of the war in a Japanese Camp. Not sure if he worked on that bridge, over the Kwai, still researching...
Péronne, in the Somme, liberated by the Australians, will be certainly remembering and mark Anzac day. I gave to the museum there quite a number of drawings and paintings by my grandfather, my uncle, and others. Oui, soivrnez-vous!
