Wired Swallows

In previous years we have posted photos similar to these, taken last Thursday (29th August).

In 2020 it was on August 4th 

In 2014 it was the 18 September 

In 2010 we talked about the swallow migration on the 3rd October 

and in 2009 we did similar on the 29 September 

I'm not sure we can make even folkloric predictions about the upcoming winter, because different generations of swallows leave at different times. But it's interesting how predictable the gathering places are.
