A few photos from Brussels. The Maison Cauchie was built by artist couple Paul and Lina Cauchie in 1905 as their personal home, studio and calling card for their work. To my eyes it's a strange melange of Glasgow (Charles Rennie Mackintosh) architecture and art nouveau decoration.
If you have to advertise, make it stylish
We tried to visit, but although the sign on the door said they
were open, they weren't.
Still, it added a bit of brightness to
what (weatherwise) was a pretty dull day.
