Yesterday was another walking day, though less strenuous than on Tuesday. We
caught the telecabine and telesiege (cable car and chairlift) from Pont
d'Espagne, and took the gentle stroll to the Hostellerie de Gaube. There we
had an excellent lunch, then walked down the hill back to Pont d'Espagne. We
did this
two years ago
as part of one of our long walks.

We returned to Cauterets mid afternoon, worried about parking for the night because our regular car park is closed to accommodate the support vehicles for the Tour de France. The town itself is more full of people than we have ever seen, and the was plenty of entertainment last night.
Pyreneean Folk Singers - excellent!!
Tomorrow - the Tour hits town. We'll be there.
