Winter Feasting

I wasn't very diligent about picking apples this year in the orchard. But they aren't going to waste. The winter thrush species -- Song Thrush, Mistle Thrush, Redwing and Blackbird -- are all having a feast.

I'm spotting more of the baguette distributers in small villages lately. Very hand for the locals. In the Vendee we had a bread truck that came by twice weekly.
