A View of Chinon

Nearby Richelieu might be a model town in the sense of being a town designed from scratch, but the maquette tool in PhotoShop transforms Chinon too, into something that would grace the finest 3D architectural model display.

These pix are fun...
it is a marvel what tricks the eye will play when fed a bit of disinformation!

I thought this looked like a model at first, then did a double take, then read your post. Interesting effect...

Interesting effect BUT what is or was the white shadowy figure at the cross roads? Jeane perhaps!!

Tim, Betty: It's a great way to highlight certain features of a photo.

C&E: I can't remember who the figure represents, but I think it's advertising the shop it's outside.

"maquette tool" I wish someone would show me where that is, so I didn't spend an hour or so doing it manually....

Tim is VERY impressed with both this and the railway layout. I am too, but understand less (read nothing!) about the techniques involved. Well done.

Nice picture - I like the idea that anywhere can be turned into 'Toy-Town". Quite Lewis Carroll!
All the best to all our bloggers for 2015.
