Alpine
Clover Trifolium alpinum (Fr. Trefle alpin) is a low growing plant
found above 1000 metres. The flowers are apparently scented and the
roots taste mildly of liquorice. It is believed to be widely
distributed because of troops marching through various alpine areas
since ancient times.
