What's Happening in October Around Preuilly?

October has been International Breast Cancer Awareness Month since 1985. The awareness campaign in France is called le cancer du sein, parlons-en ! ('breast cancer, let's talk about it!') and there is a 5km fundraising walk/run. Students have been staging awareness raising events too.

Saturday 8 – Latin swing jazz music in a pub atmosphere at la Forge, between Preuilly and Chaumussay, hosted by Mahé Girard and starting at 20.30. Pascal Martin on piano and Anaïs Vaillant on clarinet will perform Miles Davis, Richard Rodgers, Tom Jobim. Selected beers available to sample. Entry 6€.

The orchids will reappear this month after
their summer dormancy.
