Col d'Aubisque

This is the road at Col d'Aubisque in the Pyrénées. We were there last year, and also in 2022. In 2022 we sat on the terrace of Les Crêtes Blanches, eating ice-cream and watching Vultures. It's one of the big iconic climbs.

The writing on the road is because the Tour de France went over the pass a couple of days before we visited in 2022, and supporters paint the name of their favourites on many of the big climbs.

Six weeks later the Vuelta Espana travelled across the same piece of road.
