I can't absolutely swear to it, but all day yesterday we had men with a cherry picker up and down our street, installing not so little grey boxes on walls, posts and brackets. For a couple of years now there have been promises that fibre is coming, and there has been a lot of hole digging and cable laying, but so far the fibre has reached the Claise river and no further.
It has to be said that the new infrastructure hasn't improved the streetscape any.
