Springvale Homestead

Springvale is the oldest cattle station in the Northern Territory, established in 1879. This is the old stone homestead. Alfred Giles drove 2000 cattle and 12 000 sheep 2750 km from Adelaide to stock the place. It took him 19 months to make the journey, and he crossed Australia from south to north in the process.
