I may be wrong (it happened once before in 1978) but I believe that last night's sunset was the latest for 2015. All this depends on your lattitude, and exact timings are difficult to come by, but I think that's what I was being told by the interwebs.

the evenings now get shorter, second by second...
the mornings dawn later from the solstice...
but due to the Earth's wobble, the date when the evenings draw in is delayed...
and, because the wobble varies...
is different every year.
The wobble is said to be because the four huge elephants...
that support the world on top of Great A'tuin's back...
are having a shuffle...
after all, they have been doing the work for millenia!!
