Man Imitates Nature

Taken in mid October by Simon, I like the way the sunlight on the electrical wires makes them resemble a gigantic spider's web. It's even more apt as this is the season we get lots of picturesque dew laden real spider webs in gardens and fields.

A la cuisine hier: The walnut crop has been shelled, netting 400 g of nuts. There weren't very many complete duds but only about 50% of the nuts are in really top quality condition. There was very little insect damage, but a lot of half withered nuts and water damage.
