To tell the truth, most years it's known in our house as "yesterday was pancake day" because we don't really pay much attention to dates during winter, most days being "Sunday the something" for all intents and purposes.
However, as Susan bought a crêpe pan last week pancakes have being weighing heavy on my mind. We might just christen that baby today.Simon

Good job you posted this, Simon. I'd've forgotten it was Shrove Tuesday otherwise... must make batter... I've just been to get a bottle of Munster out... just need the eggs and flour.
