I heard the other day a view on cave paintings that seeing them by fire light, ie flickering, would give the animals a sort of movement.
chm - the site is part of the official attribtion for the photo. not sure I can change it
potty - the guide demonstrated that by flickering ehr fingers across the torch. It's amazingly effective
It's a pity that cro-magbob is taken to mean not human - because theyw ere identical to us, they just didn't have our hang-ups (or our technology)
