We took this photo whilst having lunch after walking on the Col de Tente in July. There were two things I really wanted to see on our trip to the Pyrenees: marmotts and vultures. We saw any number of both that day.

I'm not normally excited by birds (stop sniggering in the back row) but I will admit to a frisson. It's vultures, innit.
