Several chateaux have been given special permission to open their gardens from the first weekend in April, although the interiors remain closed due to Covid19 restrictions. Here are some photos of the gardens from previous years.

Very Nice. What is the Big "His Masters Voice" trumpet in the Azay photo?
Much further north-east in the Loire Valley, there is a private arboretum, les Grandes Bruyères, within the Orléans' forest. It is worth a visit. There is also closer to Orléans, le Parc de la Source with its amazing housing for tropical butterflies. Definitely worth a detour.
