In June we stayed in the Hays family holiday cottage in Charente-Maritime. At that point they were like a lot of holiday accommodation owners in France -- in a quandary about whether they should take bookings or not. Depressingly, they are once again closed to guests due to Covid19 restrictions.
But if you fancy a touch of France at home, check out Susan Hays' antique boutique. She has a delightful stock of items she has found at flea markets and garage sales which can be shipped to customers all over the globe.
As she said on Facebook: P.s thank you so so much to everyone who continues to support our little brocante shop on our website, www.ourfrenchlifestyle.com it makes an enormous difference 💗

As far as I can tell, most of these "antiques" are not very old, with the exception, maybe, of the Louis XIV candlestick on the bottom right that is missing its bobèche, candle ring.
But all those grès pots are lovely.
Quite right.
