I doubt if the Man From Snowy River, who came from around these parts, would be very impressed by much of the riding going on today in the Snowy Mountains. These days too, feral horses known as brumbies are a terrible problem in the National Park.

Where is the snow?
This is November, late spring. The snow is mostly gone. Just a few patches on the highest peaks.
