Last week Susan had a couple of days work starting in Mont St Michel, so we drove up and took the opportunity to spend a day in le Mans on our way.

Le Vieux Mans is a great place. Need to go there again soon.
We highly recommend the old centre of Le Mans. I think it doesn't get too many visitors because most people are going to the race track instead.
Have you seen the film Le Beau Mariage by Eric Rohmer? A lot of it was filmed in Le Mans.
