As of tomorrow Célestine and Claudette are back at work for the 2015 season, ferrying tourists to chateaux, wineries, fromageries, markets, gardens and all sorts of lesser known sites of historic interest in the Touraine Loire Valley.
Of course, this means Simon is working too - as can be seen by the shine on Claudette. He claims that until we bought Célestine he had never hand washed a car: growing up in the "bush capital", car washing was something one did at a drive through car-wash, and even then only after visiting the coast. During the season he has to wash and polish at least one car a week.

Montrésor is one of our favourite places to mooch around. Lunch at the café on the bottom road is good, too (I forget what it's called). Do many if your clients ask to visit Montrésor or are they mainly interested in the big, famous châteaux?
The two ladies look very grand and elegant in such a lovely setting. It would be unthinkable to see them covered in dirt!

Nobody's ever asked to visit Montresor, but we suggest it sometimes, especially if the clients are doing more than one day. The cafe is called the Café de la Ville, and is excellent -- much more sophiscated food than you expect from the look of the building.
