Ah, nmemories of being a tot with a shrimping net. I was always made to put back the critters that I had caught, though. Nothing in a Cornish rockpool was quite as exotic as this!
Tim: I suspect this notice is to discourage pestering the rockpool occupants at all, much less taking them home. At least temporarily until they recover.
