It is the other day in the year that Simon should bring you breakfast in bed with a rose on the tray [rose optional the other day]: he should take to a restaurant for tonight's meal, too. But, look on the bright side, the sun is out and it is melting the snow!!
I took Nick to the station at 7.30 this morning so that he didn't have to drive at all so that he can go out for a drink with his mates after work. Then I'll pick him up from the pub at 10.00pm.
Harrumph.
(To be fair, it is a colleague's leaving do and he did take me out for dinner last night to beat the rush !!)
