Three photos of the
Chateau du Lion in Preuilly sur Claise. The second photo is of the large defensive walls that prove that once the chateau was a proper castle, and the third was taken on Christmas eve, 2008.
Over the next couple of months you may notice us not blogging quite as voluminously as in the past - and the posts might be of events past we are catching up on. We will be attempting to blog every day, but the combination of Susan being in Australia for a couple of weeks and me pretending to be a builder means that sometimes we won't have time to think - let alone type those thoughts into the computer.

These faux medieval towers make me think of M. Édoux's one in St-Savin-sur-Gartempe! BTW he was a native of St-Savin; just found out.
Nice photos, Simon. The third one is very striking.
