Bah. Missed it. However, I didn't miss many eating opportunities whilst over there so maybe it was just as well.
We had a wonderful time, taking in Angles, Marciac and Plaisance in the Gers, Montbron, La Rochfd, and a vegetarian hotel in Normandy. Lots of travelling but many happy memories to keep us going until the next trip...

Loches! Of course. I've been there more than once so I should have recognized it! And it's only 20 minutes from here...
The bottom one is quite a bit further south, in the Charente. It's Rochefoucauld.
