I know that chapel on top--in lovely Chanceaux pres Loches. For a place that's really just a bend in the road, Chanceaux hits the high spots--chateau, pond with a model ship, chapel, little building covered with portraits of authors, a triple allee of plane trees, and a low tree pruned to the shape of an open umbrella, which shelters the tables of a restaurant that never seems to be open.
Plus it has a sunken laneway that is one of my top botanising places.
